Edges and Guides

In the first screenshot I had no guide lines from the edges meaning that the edges might have ended up being cut off, now I've added some guidelines a few millimetres from the edge and moved some text accordingly which should solve the issue.

Not meeting for photos (again)

Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet my actor over the half term due to clashing plans and such, however if I ask nicely with a bit of luck I should be able to meet her over the weekend

Guide lines

Throughout the creation of my magazine I've been using guidelines to help me space out pictures and text. I'm using similar spacing to what's used in my style model, Kerrang.

Not meeting for photos

I was unable to meet with my actor at the weekend as a few things came up, unfortunately she is busy until Thursday so I'm going to reshoot over the half term.

Meeting for more photos

I've arranged to meet my actor again to reshoot some photos at the weekend. These should hopefully be the final photos I need so I can start construction of my music magazine.

DPS Photo

I've added one of my own photos into the double page spread, however I don't plan on using that photo in my final version.
My style model, Kerrang, tends to use number of different kinds of shots for their double page spread.

Cover

I'm pretty happy with my front cover so far, however I will need to work on the text next. The text in the middle left is a little too close to the edge so when I come to edit it I'll add guide lines a few millimetres from the edge so when it's printed no text is cut off or goes over the edge.

New Photo + Title

I've changed the cover photo of the my magazine to a photo that fits a little better. I also changed the positioning of the photo so the name is recognisable behind the photo. My style model Kerrang does this a lot.
I also changed the name of the magazine to something that suits the genre. I chose Beat Down because the word 'beat' references the beat in music and combined with 'down', It sounds pretty punk.
